Northern College is one of the partners in the Laurentian University BScN Collaborative Program and, as part of this partnership with Laurentian University, our nursing students are able to complete all four years of the BScN program at Northern
Requirements:-
This program is oversubscribed and receives more than enough qualified applicants to fill the seats available. Applicants accepted into oversubscribed programs confirm their offer and pay their fees early to reserve a place in the program
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Six Grade 12 U/M credits including:
Grade 12 Math (U)
Grade 12 English (U)
Grade 12 Biology (U)
Grade 12 Chemistry (U)
Any two additional Grade 12 courses (4U/M)
Northern College does not offer academic testing for the Science equivalencies.
Students entering the BScN program require a minimum overall average of 75% for admission.
How To Apply:-
- Completed Immunization/Communicable Disease Testing Requirements forms, supplied by the College.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (C.P.R. – HCP Level).
- Standard First Aid Certificate (or equivalent).
- WHMIS Certificate (may be obtained at a minimal cost through the College).
- A recent criminal reference/vulnerable sector check – (within 6 months) is required prior to the start of the fall Semester (1 original copy).
- Mask Fit testing (offered in September, on campus by the Nurse Training Officers)
