{"id":1170,"date":"2018-02-17T17:10:38","date_gmt":"2018-02-17T11:40:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sarvstudy.com\/old\/?p=1170"},"modified":"2018-02-17T17:14:55","modified_gmt":"2018-02-17T11:44:55","slug":"new-zealand-aid-program-scholarships-for-international-students-newzealand-foreign-affair-and-trade-new-zealand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sarvstudy.com\/old\/new-zealand-aid-program-scholarships-for-international-students-newzealand-foreign-affair-and-trade-new-zealand\/","title":{"rendered":"New Zealand Aid Program Scholarships for International Students, Newzealand foreign affair and trade, New Zealand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New Zealand Aid Programme offers several different types of scholarship. \u00a0There are four\u00a0types of scholarships for full-time tertiary level study in New Zealand:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u2022\u00a0New Zealand Pacific Scholarships<\/li>\n<li>\u2022\u00a0New Zealand Development Scholarships<\/li>\n<li>\u2022\u00a0New Zealand ASEAN Scholarships<\/li>\n<li>\u2022\u00a0New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a014\/28 March\u00a02018 (annual)<br \/>\nStudy in:\u00a0 New Zealand<br \/>\nNext course starts 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Levels\/Fields of study:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depending on the country you are from, New Zealand Scholarships are available for the following level of studies: Postgraduate Certificate (6 months),\u00a0Postgraduate Diploma (1 year), Masters Degree (1 \u2013 2 years) or\u00a0PhD (up to 3.5 years).<\/p>\n<p>Preferred fields of study are those that are most relevant to the development needs of your country (i.e.\u00a0renewable energy, agriculture development, disaster risk management, private sector development, public sector development). \u00a0Find out the preferred subjects for your country.<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements:-<\/h3>\n<p>Be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencing your scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Be a citizen of the country from which you are applying for a scholarship and have resided in that country for at least the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Not a citizen or permanent resident of any\u00a0the following countries: New Zealand, Australia, Israel, South Korea, Japan, USA, any European Union country, Qatar, United Kingdom, Canada, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. (Note: This criteria does not apply to people from Niue, Cook Islands, Tokelau who are New\u00a0Zealand citizens, and it also does not apply to NZ-Samoan dual citizens.)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Meet the Immigration requirements for a student visa to New Zealand or the Pacific country you will study in (i.e. medical checks, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Meet the academic entry requirements (including English language ability) for your\u00a0preferred programme of study and institution. Refer to the website of your preferred institution to confirm entry requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Have at least one year full time (two-year\u2019s part time) work experience relevant to your career and\/or preferred qualification unless\u00a0you are applying straight from school or during my first year of tertiary study (for countries offered undergraduate study).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Intend\u00a0to return to your home country for a minimum of two years on completion of the scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>For full eligibility details check the\u00a0eligibility criteria page\u00a0and take the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Online Eligibility Test<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(not applicable for New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships).<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply:-<\/h3>\n<p>Applications can be done online or paper-based depending on your country. Applicants from countries that are eligible for both\u00a0online or paper-based applications, can apply from\u00a0<strong>1 February until\u00a014 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time)\u00a0<\/strong>while applicants from eligible countries that can only apply online can do so from\u00a0<strong>15\u00a0February until<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>28 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time)<\/strong>.
