Physics is a science based on experiments, measurements and mathematical analysis to find physical laws for everything from microcosmos to macrocosmos. Mathematics is the language of science and technology, and it is also an important part of our cultural heritage. It&#8217;s a work in progress.<\/p>\n<p>The time it takes from an idea in physics are born until it comes to technological application, becomes increasingly shorter. Mathematical and statistical analysis, mathematical modelling and calculation techniques can be used to solve a wide variety of problems in various subject areas. Climate studies, medicine, electronics and renewable energy can illustrate the range of applications.<\/p>\n<p>As an Applied Physics and Mathematics graduate, you will acquire knowledge that enables you to contribute to the technological development. You will also be part of an increase in the understanding of the world around us and how it develops.<\/p>\n<p><b>Master of Science in Applied Physics and Mathematics offers the following main profiles:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>Applied Physics<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Biophysics and medical technology<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Industrial Mathematics<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline:-<\/strong>The application deadline for the programme is\u00a0March 1st\u00a0for students with an international degree, and\u00a0April 15th\u00a0for Norwegian and Nordic degree students. Students apply through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.samordnaopptak.no\/info\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Samordna Opptak<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Admission:-<\/h3>\n<p>You have to meet the\u00a0Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to\u00a0 apply to any of NTNU&#8217;s degree programmes.
