The traditional thesisbased<br \/>\nMSc in Bioinformatics (MSc) is a<br \/>\nsix-semester program for students who<br \/>\nalready have a strong background in<br \/>\ncomputational science and\/or statistics<br \/>\nand wish to conduct substantial<br \/>\nresearch leading to a thesis. The PhD<br \/>\nprogram (nine semesters) requires<br \/>\nthat students successfully complete<br \/>\na qualifying exam and defend a<br \/>\nresearch-based thesis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline:-<\/strong> 31 March, 2018<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements:-<\/h3>\n<p>Honours BSc with a minimum B<br \/>\n(75%) standing in the last two years<br \/>\nof full-time equivalent study<br \/>\nMSc:<br \/>\nn Honours BSc with a minimum B<br \/>\n(75%) standing in the last two years<br \/>\nof full-time equivalent study<br \/>\nPhD:<br \/>\nn MSc\/MBinf. with a minimum A(80%)<br \/>\nstanding<\/p>\n<h3>How To Apply:-<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Transcripts: All post-secondary education (University level) transcripts are required, including incomplete studies\/programs, transfer courses, letter of permission and exchanges<\/li>\n<li>References: Minimum of 2 academic references are required, we recommend you contact your referees prior to submitting your application to confirm their availability and contact information<\/li>\n<li>Additional Documents: Gather any additional requirements specified by the department for admission purposes.
