The University of Munich is Germany’s sixth-oldest university in continuous operation.Originally established in Ingolstadt in 1472 by Duke Ludwig IX of Bavaria-Landshut, the university was moved in 1800 to Landshut by King Maximilian I of Bavaria when Ingolstadt was threatened by the French, before being relocated to its present-day location in Munich in 1826 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. In 1802, the university was officially named Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität by King Maximilian I of Bavaria in his as well as the university’s original founder’s honour

Requirements:-

Candidates must hold a bachelor degree in medicine, pharmacy, natural sciences, psychology, social sciences, statistics, sport science, economics and business administration, law and communication science, or another health science-related discipline. They must also speak excellent English and pass a special entrance exam.

The Ph.D. program in Cognitive science of language at UNG provides high quality training of young researchers in Linguistics in the context of contemporary Cognitive Science.

The program curriculum is based on the scientific thesis that the endowment for language is encoded in the human biological make-up as a system with computational properties. As such, the program emphasizes integration of analytical tools of modern formal theoretical linguistics and methods of experimental sciences such as psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics which concern themselves with studying the psychological and neurological reality of language.

  • have completed an equivalent program abroad.

The Viticulture and Enology (V&E) programme is a first-level undergraduate study programme that takes three years to complete. The programme is uniform throughout the first two years and offers good fundamental knowledge of natural sciences and the economy as well as more professional knowledge in Viticulture, Enology and wine marketing.

Requirements:-

The admission requirement for viticulture and enology programme is a matura, vocational matura or final examination after the completion of four-year secondary education programme or its equivalent. If the number of students pre-registered for enrolment greatly exceeds the number of places available, the admission is limited. In selecting the candidates, the grade-point average of the matura, vocational matura or secondary school final examination (60 %) and the grade-point average of the 3rd and 4th year in secondary school (40 %) shall be taken into account.

  • a bachelor’s degree or at least equivalent professional qualification at a university, college, Berufsakademie, dual university or foreign university. The study must have been completed with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits and with a minimum of three years of standard period of study in the Food Chemistry degree course or a subject-related degree program
  • An internship of at least 35 credit points in the subjects Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biology as well as internships in the field of food analysis amounting to at least 25 credit points
  • that there is no definitive failure in the course of studies in Food Chemistry or a related course of study with substantially the same content and that the right to an examination still exists for other reasons
  • For applicants whose native language is not German, proof of sufficient knowledge of the German language is required by presenting a certificate in accordance with the regulations of the KIT admission and enrollment regulations, as amended.
