The GCIB is a fast paced, intense, integrated, full-time, cohort based program. Depending on graduating grade point average, successful graduates can move onto a Faculty of Management graduate diploma, or other graduate programs. Graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher may also apply to the VIU MBA program (work experience required).

Requirements:-

An undergraduate degree from a recognized institution or Red Seal Endorsement.
Meet VIU’s International Student English Language Requirements for Graduate Programs.
Applicants whose previous degree was obtained in a country where English is not the primary/official language and from a university where English was not the language of instruction must meet one of the following VIU English language requirements:
- Completion of VIU’s English Language Centre Graduate Preparation Program, or,
- A minimum score for English Language requirements for Graduate Programs.

Applicants with an undergraduate degree in business or commerce:

Students with a minimum “C+” grade point average in five out of six business topic areas and a minimum “C+” overall grade point average may wish to apply directly for one of the Faculty of Management graduate diplomas. Other specific admission criteria such as work experience may be required.
Students with a minimum “B” average in last two years of undergraduate degree may be eligible for admission to the MBA program at VIU. Other admission criteria may apply

All applications, transcripts, and additional forms become the property of Vancouver Island University and are not returned, whether a student is accepted or not. The only exception is where a document is deemed to be irreplaceable. If submitting such a document, please request its return at the time of submission.

Students applying for more than one program must submit an application for each request; however, only one set of transcripts will be required.

Businessworld Scholarships for Indian Students, Flinders University, Australia

Flinders University in partnership with BW Businessworld is offering scholarships for Indian students. These scholarships will cover 100% of the tuition fee for a postgraduate coursework business degree commencing in Semester Two July 2018 (up to a maximum of four semesters study).

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

The primary mission of the Paris IAS is to be a research centre anchored in the humanities and social sciences (HSS), with the aim of fostering a fruitful dialogue between researchers from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.

The Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS) is a research centre in the field of the humanities and social sciences (SHS), and related disciplines. It offers globally-recognized senior and junior researchers a chance to carry out five- to nine-month research stays in Paris

Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue research.
Study Subject: The Paris Institute for Advanced Study is launching two calls for applications for research fellowships in 2019-2020 open to researchers of all nationalities.

– One call for 5 or 10-month fellowships in the “Blue Sky Research” program, open to all disciplines and themes in the humanities and social sciences.

– One call for 5 or 10-month fellowships in the “Brain, Culture and Society” program. This call is for researchers willing to conduct a project at the interface between neuroscience, cognitive science and the humanities and social sciences.

Requirements:-

Junior scholars with or without a permanent position in a university or research institution, who have received their Ph.D. no later than April 1st, 2016. The applicants who have held their PhD for more than 9 years will be considered as senior researchers.
Senior researchers holding a position in a university or research institution, or emeritus professors, having a minimum of 10 years of research experience after their Ph.D. (received before April 1st, 2008).
The institute is bilingual. Knowledge of English is required. The applicants are also expected to understand written and spoken French, as scientific and social activities are held in French and English.
Applicants who have spent more than a total of 12 months in France during the 3 years prior to the application (that is, between February 15th, 2015 and February 15th, 2018) are not eligible.
