Finland is one of the northernmost countries in the world, and while it may be off the beaten track this Nordic country is anything but insular. Applicants shall also demonstrate the knowledge and competences defined annually by ministerial decree for the entrance exams to degree programmes with nationally restricted access.

The number of places, entrance exam date, contents and selection methods are published annually in the relative call for applications.

Requirements:-

Candidates must also possess the following knowledge: strong general knowledge, logical reasoning and comprehension skills.
There are no specific foreign language requirements for admission to the programme.
The degree programme has restricted access, and a ranking list will be drafted on the basis of the results of the entrance exam, which also assesses the candidates’ knowledge and is therefore mandatory for all students. The criteria and methods for the entrance exam are detailed in the call for applications. A ranking list will be drafted on the basis of the results of the exam; candidates obtaining at least the minimum grade laid down in the call for applications may register to the programme with no additional learning requirements. Students accepted to the programme obtaining less than the minimum score in the entrance exam will be assigned additional learning requirements (OFA). The OFA must be completed in the first year of the programme and in any case in the terms set by the University. Students not completing the additional learning requirements in the set terms must enrol in the following academic year as repeating students, and shall repeat the procedure laid down for passing the OFA. Students passing at least two of the year 1 exams giving a grade expressed in thirtieths will be deemed to have completed the OFA.
