Vancouver Island University’s Post-Degree Diploma in Business Studies (PDDB) is a 1 year post-degree program which provides an opportunity for students who already possess an undergraduate degree to hone their managerial skills to meet the challenges of the global business environment. Students may select concentrations in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Financial Services, General Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management and Leadership, Marketing, and Not-for-Profit Management, or following a consultation with the PDDB academic advisor, take a personalized program of courses that suits their interests

Flinders University in partnership with BW Businessworld is offering scholarships for Indian students. These scholarships will cover 100% of the tuition fee for a postgraduate coursework business degree commencing in Semester Two July 2018 (up to a maximum of four semesters study).

Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.

If your first language is not English you will need to meet English language entry requirements in addition to the course prerequisites.

The Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS) is currently accepting applications for two calls for applications for research fellowships in 2019-2020 open to researchers of all nationalities.

The primary mission of the Paris IAS is to be a research centre anchored in the humanities and social sciences (HSS), with the aim of fostering a fruitful dialogue between researchers from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.

The Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS) is a research centre in the field of the humanities and social sciences (SHS), and related disciplines. It offers globally-recognized senior and junior researchers a chance to carry out five- to nine-month research stays in Paris

  • Application Deadline: April 3, 2018
  • Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue research.
  • Study Subject: The Paris Institute for Advanced Study is launching two calls for applications for research fellowships in 2019-2020 open to researchers of all nationalities.

– One call for 5 or 10-month fellowships in the “Blue Sky Research” program, open to all disciplines and themes in the humanities and social sciences.

– One call for 5 or 10-month fellowships in the “Brain, Culture and Society” program. This call is for researchers willing to conduct a project at the interface between neuroscience, cognitive science and the humanities and social sciences.

Requirements:-

  • Junior scholars with or without a permanent position in a university or research institution, who have received their Ph.D. no later than April 1st, 2016. The applicants who have held their PhD for more than 9 years will be considered as senior researchers.
  • Senior researchers holding a position in a university or research institution, or emeritus professors, having a minimum of 10 years of research experience after their Ph.D. (received before April 1st, 2008).
  • The institute is bilingual. Knowledge of English is required. The applicants are also expected to understand written and spoken French, as scientific and social activities are held in French and English.
  • Applicants who have spent more than a total of 12 months in France during the 3 years prior to the application (that is, between February 15th, 2015 and February 15th, 2018) are not eligible.

English Language Requirements: The institute is bilingual. Knowledge of English is required. The applicants are also expected to understand written and spoken French, as scientific and social activities are held in French and English.

  • a curriculum vitae (10 pages maximum) including a list of publications and a list of the 5 publications considered as the most important by the applicant;
  • a detailed research proposal (25 000 characters maximum, spaces included, bibliography not included). The proposal should include :

  • methodology or theoretical framework
  • expected outcomes
  • work planning, timescales
  • existing or planned scientific cooperation and contacts in France
  • bibliography (books and articles cited)
  • a letter of cooperation signed by a member of a university or research institution based in France. Preference will be given to projects conducted in cooperation with the partners of the IAS (see list below). The planned collaborations may include the organization of conferences and series of lectures or the preparation of a research project to be submitted to an international funding agency (like the ERC or the EU H2020 program);

If you are starting your business career and you want a degree EIT’s Bachelor of Business Studies BBS is just right for you.   Alternatively, you might not yet know what direction you want to take your career but know you want a degree; in this case a business degree is a good option because it will develop your generic skills that could be used in a wide variety of careers.

ACADEMIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet degree standard entry requirements. Approved bridging programmes include the EIT Applied Diploma in Business and New Zealand Diploma in Business or provisional entry without prerequisites for those over 20 years.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to have attained an acceptable level of English Language fluency. This may be demonstrated in a variety of ways, including successful study in English, approved scores on TOEFL or IELTS (6.0 Academic) tests, completion of accepted international equivalents, or completion of an EIT assessment.

ENTRY WITH CREDIT

You may already have some knowledge or skills that can be recognised as part of your intended study. This may take a number of different forms including study while at high school, study at a private training establishment, workplace training, other tertiary study, life experiences or voluntary work. If you think you qualify, you may want to apply for Cross Credit or Recognition of Prior Learning.

How to apply:-

RPL and Cross Credit cannot be awarded for a course if you are enrolled in that course. An original transcript or notice of results from the institute at which you previously studied (or verified copies) will be required for all applications.

Humber’s Bachelor of Commerce – Supply Chain Management degree program provides grounding in both general business knowledge and specialized supply chain skills across a wide range of industries. Our program starts with a foundation of business studies in areas such as organizational behaviour, law, economics, finance and accounting, marketing, and operations management.
