The University of Louvain (UCL) is currently accepting applications for PhD Scholarships for students from Developing countries to study in Belgium. Recipients receive a UCL PhD scholarship that includes support for no more than 36 months and, if necessary, one or more round-trip airline tickets between the international airport nearest to the recipient’s home country residence and Brussels Airport.

Be from a developing country;
Have the support of at least one UCL faculty member;
Be admitted by the PhD Committee (CDD) to pursue a PhD at UCL or to the Research Certificate Program PhD in home country institution) in the candidate’s research field;
Be free from any commitment to return to a country that has funded training;
For students who have already started their doctorate and are enrolled at UCL, not be a scholarship beneficiary.

Developing country citizens who, through their administrative status within the EU, hold Belgian student status based on a residence permit and/or social rights are not eligible.

English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

The New Zealand Aid Programme offers several different types of scholarship. There are four types of scholarships for full-time tertiary level study in New Zealand:

• New Zealand Pacific Scholarships
• New Zealand Development Scholarships
• New Zealand ASEAN Scholarships
• New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships

Levels/Fields of study:

Depending on the country you are from, New Zealand Scholarships are available for the following level of studies: Postgraduate Certificate (6 months), Postgraduate Diploma (1 year), Masters Degree (1 – 2 years) or PhD (up to 3.5 years).

Preferred fields of study are those that are most relevant to the development needs of your country (i.e. renewable energy, agriculture development, disaster risk management, private sector development, public sector development). Find out the preferred subjects for your country.

Requirements:-

Be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencing your scholarship.

• Be a citizen of the country from which you are applying for a scholarship and have resided in that country for at least the last two years.

• Not a citizen or permanent resident of any the following countries: New Zealand, Australia, Israel, South Korea, Japan, USA, any European Union country, Qatar, United Kingdom, Canada, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. (Note: This criteria does not apply to people from Niue, Cook Islands, Tokelau who are New Zealand citizens, and it also does not apply to NZ-Samoan dual citizens.)

• Meet the Immigration requirements for a student visa to New Zealand or the Pacific country you will study in (i.e. medical checks, etc.).

• Meet the academic entry requirements (including English language ability) for your preferred programme of study and institution. Refer to the website of your preferred institution to confirm entry requirements.

• Have at least one year full time (two-year’s part time) work experience relevant to your career and/or preferred qualification unless you are applying straight from school or during my first year of tertiary study (for countries offered undergraduate study).

• Intend to return to your home country for a minimum of two years on completion of the scholarship.

Applications can be done online or paper-based depending on your country. Applicants from countries that are eligible for both online or paper-based applications, can apply from 1 February until 14 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time) while applicants from eligible countries that can only apply online can do so from 15 February until 28 March 2018 (12pm NZ Time). For New Zealand Commonwealth scholarships, only paper applications are accepted from 1 February to 28nMarch 2018. The Master of Health Science programme is tailored for health managers and health practitioners, specifically those working for DHBs, PHOs, the fitness industry and sports organisations, as well as social workers, community care workers and allied health practitioners.

An option for this program is the completion of a 30 credit scholarly project or a 90 credit thesis. - provide evidence of having completed a relevant professional qualification; and
- provide evidence of successful completion of a relevant qualification or programme of study which is equivalent to those of first degree graduates, through the submission of a portfolio of evidence.

Successful pilots and business people have a lot in common — they are skilled communicators, develop plans for success, assess conditions, and anticipate change. Take your passion for flight to new heights with UFV Aviation’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

You get to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, private pilot’s license, commercial pilot’s license, and several ratings that enable you to fly multiple types of aircraft in varying conditions. Your pilot’s license is in accordance with ICAO standards, meaning you can fly domestically and internationally.

Throughout the program, you take a combination of flight training, aviation theory, and academic courses.

You complete your flight training at an external flight training provider, approved by UFV.

In your first year, you earn your private and commercial pilot’s licenses; in your third and fourth year, you fly multi-engine aircraft, master instrumentation, and specialize with either a Heavy Jet Transport or Professional Flight Instructor option.
